Is this the highest amperage at home charger the ev1 will support? Or do you think I should wire for an 80-100 amp charger?
I’m on my second EV, and the Hummer will be my third. My Mitsubishi iMiev only used a 16 amp charger, and I upgraded to a 32 amp charger for my Chevy Bolt EV. So now , if the 3X doesn’t get a free charger, I’ll have to buy this bigger one for it. I guess it never hurts to plan ahead 👍

My understanding, per Clipper Creek is that you can utilize say a 30amp charger it will just take longer to charge. I have the 48amp Clipper Creek but added a 32amp in a second location. I'm no expert but this is what they told me. This is a photo of the unit GM sent. View attachment 1998
Yes this is correct, but it’s nice to be able to recharge a big battery like the Hummer’s in a reasonable time frame
