I made a reservation so hopefully I can take off work early that day. I might take a few, however, there’s a lot of pics and videos already out there.Wow, great find, @Rparker007! Please ask about power outlets, what voltages (120/240), how many locations, etc.I made a reservation so hopefully I can take off work early that day. I might take a few, however, there’s a lot of pics and videos already out there.
If anyone has any particular questions about the Hummer EV, I will be happy to ask. One of my questions is if they will have power folding side mirrors, in which, I am hoping they do.
I e-mailed the general sales manager where I have my reservation with that very question. He did not reply.I would like to hear if they have input on potential for dealer markups. I’m going to be ticked off if I am offered an early slot but the dealer wants an extra $25 grand.
Edition one does not have factory options other than take it or leave it... There will be some dealer installed options available. If your dealer plans to make it up, change dealers, you can contact them and ask now, using your reservation number. I talked to my dealer, they told me , no discounts, no markups...I would like to hear if they have input on potential for dealer markups. If they expect any specific ordered options to delay delivery. I’d rather have it early than wait for some options to be production ready. I vaguely remember hearing some issues around this on the C8. Maybe there are no options on edition 1?
Have they been testing 37” tires? I’m assuming all the videos and pictures we have been seeing are with 35”?
Enjoy the event! I’m jealous!

I bet you could’ve gotten an Aztec near free without using your points. Are GM Card points considered as discounts? I know that they cap what you can get on different models and usually the high demand models have the lowest discount/redeemable amounts..... But highly undesirable models like the old Pontiac Aztec you could redeem more...
I would assume that would be up to the dealership. The dealership I chose said they will not be any dealer markups or add-ons. If they do I would transfer my reservation to another dealership.I would like to hear if they have input on potential for dealer markups. I don’t think GM points are discounts and you could use them. I get the GMS discount on most GM vehicles but I’ll bet the Edition One will be excluded or possibly all Hummer EV models will be excluded for the first couple of years. My dealership couldn’t give me a direct answer so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. However it’s not a deal breaker because I would gladly pay MSRP but not over MSRP.Are GM Card points considered as discounts? I have not heard yet on GM card points, and GMS on the Hummer EV, I think GM will be a bit stingy at least with the Edition 1's, as GM considers them a special edition. Are GM Card points considered as discounts? I just looked at incentives on the C8 Corvette and it is not showing any GMS or GDS(dealership employee) codes. I'm assuming they will treat the Hummer the same way as both are similar high profile order/reservation list vehicles. The Corvette is showing all GM cards though, but the amounts I'm sure will be different for the Hummer if the card is allowed. Again all of this is speculation on a similar GM highline vehicle.I have not heard yet on GM card points, and GMS on the Hummer EV, I think GM will be a bit stingy at least with the Edition 1's, as GM considers them a special edition.
Please ask about bi-directional charging similar to F-150 EV, and built-in dash cam recording from all the cameras similar to Tesla's. ThanksI made a reservation so hopefully I can take off work early that day. I might take a few, however, there’s a lot of pics and videos already out there.
