I saw on GMC's website you can also get the larger battery in the EV3X model. Will be interesting to see what the cost is for this upgrades, and if there is additional charges for colors etc? Automakers have been gouging on paint colors recently, and that is unfortunate. I do not mind paying extra if the paint has pearl, or is a tri-coat, but don't charge me for plain Black, or White.

I recieved an email from GMC about this back on December 18th. Since I have the V3 on order and wait listed for the Edition 1, this is exactly what I was looking forward to.

There's going to be at least 1 or 2 colors that are going to cost extra. It's the nature of the beast, GM won't say no to taking an extra few dollars from us.

Nice they put this on the web site, but many of us already knew this as we had received emails to this effect. And GM people have already said that these options would be available. It was stated in their PR about the possibility of making more Edition 1 vehicles.

There are possibly some unique features that will be on Edition 1 only, aside from just the Edition 1 badging. No specifics yet, but it looks like the lunar white/ ghost white color may only be available on Edition 1. Although they have said that “white” will be available on all trims.
