Nope, the pack comes off the bottom, isa piece of cake to change other then dealing with the weight of the vehicle and battery pack.looks like from the picturs that the batteries have to be replaced and or serviced from the top meaning the cab and bed would have to be removed !
This whole video was a good watch, but they show some detail about how the vehicle (and battery specifically) are put together at around 48 minutes into it. There's another video I'm looking for that went into greater detail... hopefully I can find that.Sounds logical, How do you happen to Know this?
Battery comes out through the bottom. There are a couple of steel plates to remove, then some bolts in the inside the cab that need removed. Lower vehicle onto battery service table just so they touch. Remove bolts from bottom and raise vehicle body back up. Couple of connectors and coolant hoses attached to battery need removed. Before hand also. Then with battery out you can remove a top cover to access the battery modules.looks like from the picturs that the batteries have to be replaced and or serviced from the top meaning the cab and bed would have to be removed !
