Has anyone been able to get a good look at the headlights... I know that a few members here got to see the 2 trucks in Texas... Any word on the headlights and if they appear to be high end projectors like in the German cars? And now that there are some "close to production ready trucks" out there, hopefully someone can get some good information on them maybe someone can get some video of one driving at night...

Great question, I have been wondering how the headlights will be, they are so small? @Aloppen give us some data?

There are vehicles on the market with a single element LED headlight like the new Corolla. The best LED headlamps have multiple elements illuminating specific parts of the road. Will be interesting to see the lighting performance of the Hummer. Good lighting is important offroad.

The up-level Corolla LED lights got an Acceptable rating from IIHS. A Good rating is best.

Wouldn't surprise me if the headlights are the lower lights on the Hummer and the upper light bar is just for DRL. When they did they new Blazer that's what they did. The circled part below is the actually headlight, just the one LED headlamp. The above lights where you think the headlights are or should be are just the LED DRL.

Exactly right, but the question is how is the light quality going to be?

That is a great question as it's a big vehicle that will need to see what's coming on the road ahead. They do look to be similar to a projector light housing. From past experience I have had LED bulbs in an aftermarket housing with projectors and those really threw the light down the road. I could see a long distance ahead of me, hopefully that is the case.

I am pretty sure that the headlights are in the lower... Probably because of the height of vehicle and not wanting to blind other drivers... I just hope that they are GOOD headlights that really light things up... I have gotten really spoiled by my wife's Mercedes GLS with the upgraded headlights they are amazing

Likewise, with our E-Tron, that has the upgraded headlights, even though the adaptive beams are turned off until they are legal in the USA (Audi told us would be in 2020, but our lawmakers are slow) we are spoiled.
