Fantastic! Finally, some news, any news! I'd bank on an October reveal. It's about damn time GM threw us a bone - can't believe it's finally happening! Thanks for getting this up immediately, @JimsH3!

As far as the Bronco goes, there's no doubt that the Bronco's days as the automotive media darling are numbered. Offroad...though they are two very different vehicles, the Hummer EV is the offroader of the future. That's why it's my pick ;)

Cool to see there will be both a pickup-truck AND an SUV!!!
Agreed. Especially since the initial plan was to reveal and build the SUV variant at least a year later than the truck...moving it up is a huge deal! Getting both the SUT and SUV at the same time will make the wait even more worth it.

Thanks! Yes, I think I might see it as sign...not sure yet! I bet she'll enjoy cruising around in a car seat with the infinity top though

On a side note, I'm financing our EV purchase though many gains made on stocks in the past couple months... Though this isn't a stock website, just wanted to give you guys a heads up that NVAX is expected to have a huge week next week, in case you guys want to use some winnings for your hummer too. Just felt the desire to share the info and help this community!

Firstly, congratulations, @lukeG! Awesome to hear the news man, hope she is healthy and well. Her father is a Hummer EV man, so she's already on the right track! It's refreshing to hear some great news like this during this mess of a year.

Also, thanks for the tip! I'm going to look into this, a great way to make some cash all while moving towards some COVID treatment. What EV are you looking into buying? The Hummer in 2021? I wasn't sure if you meant a placeholder until then lol, or even just a totally different vehicle to keep for a while.

Lastly, as an aside, the wheelbase for the SUT is longer than the SUV. I'm all for this, as it keeps the overhang as short as possible for both, which we need for optimized approach and departure angles. No idea where the spare will be on the SUT...maybe under the bed?

So, I'm thinking they'll announce a date next week because in Michigan Labor day usually feels like the last day of summer. Any thoughts?
I hope so, you may be right. Beyond that, the competition has largely already been revealed for the year: Bronco, Ram Rebel TRX, new F-150, Wagoneer, etc. This is really the last major domestic auto reveal of the year, so they don't have to sit and wait for the hype behind the others to die down anymore. It would make sense to give us a date this coming week.

Plus, GM announced that the Lyriq reveal date about a month in advance...if it's accurate that the Hummer will be revealed in late September/early October (based on what their Canadian Product Manager let slip this week), then this coming week to announce a reveal date makes perfect sense. I'm on board with that Luke, and I hope we get another teaser with it!

Agreed, except I watched part of the wrangler 4xe/wagoneer reveal, and they're gearing the wagoneer toward on-road luxury

My thoughts exactly, and I didn't even think about a teaser. I wonder if they'll do a picture of the bed

Very true, my mistake. I knew it was geared more towards fighting the Escalade/Navigator, but I was using it here as an member of the expensive American truck/SUV reveal crowd for 2020. My bad!

Could be, especially if they want to highlight a potential midgate. But then again, that may be something they want to save for the reveal. We know a lot of what's coming, so if they have removable doors, a midgate, etc., they may want to save those for the full reveal.

Regardless, how great is it that it's almost time? Some of us have been waiting here for this since January, it's felt like the day would never come!
