It's competing against the Ford F-150 Raptor, Ford Maverick, Hyundai Santa Cruz, Nissan Frontier, Rivian R1T, Tesla Cybertruck, and Toyota Tundra.

It's certainly an interesting group of trucks for the award this year.

That is cool... Hummer should win out of that list, but will it be available for media drives in time to vote?

Silverado EV will not be in production this year, not eligible... Or do you mean the refresh ice Silverado?

Ya, Cybertruck cannot win, that would be embarrassing. I think volume production of Cybertruck will not start until mid 2022 at the earliest, not 4680 battery cells, and Tesla needs to feed the Berlin Model Y, and Texas Model Y first.

I think to be Truck of the Year, doesn't it have to be significantly refreshed? or all new? I have seen the spy photos of the refreshed Silverado, it's basically taking the SUV interiors and making them a bit more truckish. A needed upgrade, but not a world beater. I hope GM takes the interior of the Silverado Ev further, bigger floating screen, tighten up some of the cheapie plastics.
