The GMC Hummer EV broke the bank at the 2021 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction as Hummer EV VIN 001 sold for a price of $2.5 million.

The money was raised in support of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, an organization that supports military members and first responders with programs such as their Fallen First Responders Home Program and Gold Star Family Home Program.

At $2.5 million the Hummer EV was the second highest selling vehicle of the entire auction. It was one of nine vehicles sold during the auction that raised a combined $5.8 million for charity.
