GM's E-crate (at least what was published 2 years ago) uses a Bolt motor/inverter and other Bolt components (probably HVDC distribution module, DC-DC module, 7.2 kW on-board charge module, charge port, etc.). The Volcon battery pack case also looks like a slimmed-down Bolt pack without the Bolt's 2nd-tier module. Note the Bolt-style sloped case top/bottom interface + pack mounting flanges.

The Volcon article also mentioned the possibility of AWD. That would likely mean adding GM's Ultium-based AWD-assist drive unit to the front - a small induction motor/inverter unit with coaxial gear box.
