GM says Factory Zero Grand opening coming in November

Its states they are already building the EV600s for Fedex. Wonder when the first deliveries will be.

GM originally guided first deliveries of the EV 600 in November, so should be soon... On these they can basically deliver beta prototypes like Rivian is doing with the amazon vans, and use Fed Ex to do the long term real world testing. GM is having Kuka build the first 500 vans.

So does this mean hummer soon ?

While this is good news for stock holders and I get the business strategy…. Let’s get on with it!!! I mean it’s exciting cause I have a tiny amount of stock but I have more stock in my personal interests. I know the ev600 doesnt affect HEV expected delivery dates but I can’t help but think let’s get a head start on the HEVs everyone reserved a year ago

I think so... but not much color on the earnings call, just that HummerEv is coming soon, and it sounds like no more Ev reveals until CES, and only Silverado at CES. GM said they "may" talk about the $30K equinox EV at CES, I get what they are doing, they do not want to dilute the Launch of HummerEV, and reveal of Silverado EV with a bunch of new announcements.

They also mentioned another EV truck assembly plant is planned for the US.

That had been mentioned a few times before... I speculated it will be in the south, along with its own battery plant.
