We should see 6 EVs revealed or on the road by the end of next year from GM, and 20 total by 2025. I think they are on track.
What? Are you counting Bolt and EUV as 2? By the end of 2022 GM is planning to have Bolt, EUV, BrightDrop, Hummer SUT, Lyriq, and what else on the road? Notice not a single mass market EV in the bunch?
Auto Forecast Solutions says Silverado E is not coming until 2023 March, and GMC version October 2023, that's just too late for both of those. Ford is launching F150 lightning in 3 months, and GM will not have an answer for a whole year after? Still no answer in the Model Y, ID.4, MachE, Ioniq5, Kia EV6, segment? Are GM board members stupid? GM is getting their ass kicked in EV's and I don't see it getting better for a long time. When Mary Barra goes on CNBC and declares GM will lead USA EV's even Phil LeBeau just rolls his eyes, and chuckles, Mary Barra has no credibility left, too many promises and talk about scale, but when the rubber meets the road GM is failing. This is why GM is losing investors in droves, they are going to Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, Ford, and VW, companies that are actually doing things, not just blah blah blah. I will vote next year to remove Mary Barra, I like her, and think she is a good peacetime general, but we need to be on a war footing (GM marketshare is under attack, and the Chinese are coming sooner then you think), and we need leadership Wall Street respects, or GM is just going to keep losing more and more investors that have more vision then GM management.
