GM confirmed in their Q2 2022 earnings report that they now have approximately 80,000 reservations for the Hummer EV.

On top of that 42% of those reservations are from customers that are new to GM and a 75% are new to GMC.

In April, GM revealed that it had received roughly 70,000 reservations for the GMC Hummer EV, across both the Pickup and SUV model lines. The pre-orders continue to roll in, as the automaker confirmed in its Q2 2022 earnings report that it now has roughly 80,000 reservations for the Hummer EV on its books.

Of those 80,000 reservations, roughly 42 percent were from customers who are new to GM, while 75 percent are new to the GMC brand. The states with the most reservations so far are California, Florida and Texas – with the latter two serving as an indication the vehicle may be popular in states that have not recorded a large percentage of EV registrations in the past. GM also said previously that roughly 70 percent of GMC Hummer EV reservation holders have never owned a battery-electric vehicle before.
