GM announced today it won't be attending CES in January. A bunch of big vendors have already made similar announcements (I think Intel announced just earlier today) but this one's a bit of a bummer because GM has been making an increasingly big deal of the show. Mary Barra was set to give an address and I'm sure the Hummer EV would have had a big presence.
The major news was set to be the debut of the Silverado EV. GM is still planning to do some kind of virtual reveal, but there likely won't be auto journalists on hand to give unvarnished opinions.
