Even with the $7500 incentive, EV demand will plateau far quicker than what GM anticipated.

The real question is - which South Korean battery packaging company will be the first to mimic the Chinese battery companies and roll out Lithium Iron Phosphate cells, which are far cheaper than Lithium NMC.

LFP are great if you can tolerate the lower energy density. GM won't be able to for their most dense Ultium vehicles.

I question if GM can hit their target price for Equinox and Blazer with current Lithium NMC prices.
