Hum! Well yes we’ve had EV Chevy’s, Caddies and GMC’s announced, I’ll take the Buick bet, the line is dead, EV’s are a perfect way to revitalize the line. That Wildcat is amazing, but GM has been making amazing unmarketed concepts for almost a century. I’ll bet a upscale Blazer, they’ll start safe. The Hummer was the moonshot, now they’re filling out the more standard fare.

I think a hydrogen fuel cell back-up generator would be a great idea.

For commercial remote charging yes for pure generation . GM has a 60 kW solution they use for EV events, and the military is interested. They are 30k lb trailers you tow to location. Problem with H2 is its hard to transport and store, and its a sticky/tricky molecule to work with. Also its not a good electricity solution, as you use electrolysis (work) to create energy (H2) to convert back to work (electricity). Basically its lossy, hard to work with and expensive, so has limited use cases.
