75% after 10 year 100k mile, seems they have a lot of faith in those CATL cells?

And Fisker recently confirmed that its upcoming Ocean electric SUV, still set to arrive late this year, will offer one of the best battery warranties among EVs. Fisker’s coverage of the Ocean’s pack, featuring CATL cells, assures 75% of the original capacity for 10 years or 100,000 miles—a sweet spot that potentially beats both Tesla’s 8-year timeout and Rivian’s 175,000 mileage max.

Great warranties don’t mean much to me. Manufacturers use ridiculous warranties to draw customers then are hard to work with on claims. Hyundai had a 10 year warranty for awhile. Chrysler had a lifetime power train warranty. I went through the warranty/lemon process with a vehicle (dangerous to drive issues) in the last five years (with one of the big three) and I assure you, the warranty claim department never answered their phone or returned phone calls/emails. They only called when they had a question for me. Very painful seven month process. The dealership said it was between me and corporate since it was a warranty claim. Finally emailed the CEO directly and it got taken care of quickly after that.
