June 21, 2022 – FedEx Corp. announced today it has received its first 150 electric delivery vehicles from BrightDrop, the technology startup from General Motors decarbonizing last-mile delivery. This marks a critical milestone for FedEx as the company plans to transform its entire parcel pickup and delivery (PUD) fleet to all-electric, zero-tailpipe emissions by 2040, and comes just months after BrightDrop’s commercialization of the Zevo 600 as the fastest vehicle to market in GM’s history.

Good to hear BrightDrop is ramping up, curious to see if FedEx adds to their order?

I have not seen any of these yet, but I have seen several Rivian Amazon vans and found the delivery center where they have deployed these in Surprise Arizona. They have rows of chargers in the parking lot, mostly L2, but a couple of CCS as well.
