Enjoyed it.... thanks!
Thats pretty cool , see at the end the alignment stations? Thats pretty cool... Tesla forgot to stop at that station on my Model Y build, when I got it the steering was off center. The service center had to send it out for a 4 wheel alignment on my first (Not only) service visit. One of you may have already posted this but I saw it today on the GM site. Second video on the page. Cool drone footage inside and outside, with different “stages” (some CGI I think) of Hummer assembly: GM to Celebrate Grand Opening of Factory ZERO – an American EV Factory
How long did it take before you get the car back? That’s the kind of things that is bound to happen to Rivian as well I fear, because they’ll have the same problem as Tesla did a couple years ago with their early servicing.Tesla forgot to stop at that station on my Model Y build, when I got it the steering was off center.
I had to drive my Tesla for 3 weeks with a crooked steering wheel, and then 1 day to fix it. I doubt Rivian will have this problem, they are building slowly and carefully. When I bought my Tesla was right around the end of last year when Tesla was in their full on year end push, they probably just skipped the alignment step with hundreds of cars to increase production. Tesla has a "ship it now and fix it later" philosophy, as they always have had. Companies like Lucid, and Rivian are the opposite, they are not trying to set production records, they are holding the vehicles back and making sure they are dialed in before they go to customers. Where Rivian may have problems is software, and maybe even mechanical problems that show up like on the bed cover. How long did it take before you get the car back?
