I am trying to troubleshoot my extract mode issue: it only works about 25% of the time. I have never needed it, I just want it to work since I paid for it.

I took delivery last July and the truck was shipped with the extract mode hardware but it was before the software was released via OTA. Can those with functioning extract mode tell me if the off-road page on the center screen has extract mode level available. Mine doesn’t. It only goes up to increased height, even when the driver screen, and the vehicle height reflects extract mode.

I think you have to be in terrain mode for it. Should see it in that mode. It's very limited by speed and off-road is more for faster off-road driving and terrain is for slow crawling where you would use it.

Yeah, I am in Terrain mode when doing this as required. The driver’s screen shows all four height options:

What populates on your center screen off-road pages? You probably already know this, but, on the off-road pages, you have to scroll over a few times to see height options.

I'd really report this bug to your dealership and/or Hummer EV concierge so GM is aware... either there is a bug fix needed or a firmware change didn't get installed correctly.

I know. I am just trying to limit the lost time in the shop by doing some data mining via this forum. The dealer diagnosed the trucks’s problem but wants “more time” with it. I think they just need to reinstall all related software.

Can anyone please upload a picture of their center screen with all four height levels showing?

Dealer needs to get GM TAC involved to see if they already have information.

A few troubleshooting tips that have helped me get into highest extract level in Terrain mode when it was acting finicky.

1. Make sure all doors are closed.
2. Preferably Should be in Park.
3. Make sure wheels are all turned straight and turn off all wheel steering.
4. Seatbelts fastened.
5. Turn off Crab Mode if on.
6. Hold extract button down longer.
