Figured instead of people making post asking to buy one members can just put up here if they want to sell there orders or make some sort of deal. Pretty sure you can’t transfer orders but I’m sure it can be figured out with the dealer. I’m not interested in selling mines for any amount of money but I’m sure there is members that are so post it up here

I don't know about other states but In Mississippi it's no problem to title two individuals on a title and use the word "or " between them. That allows either individual to sell the vehicle and also use it as collateral. Essentially the reservation holder can add a buyer onto the title and only pay taxes once. The new buyer retains the title and technically the reservation holder still bought the edition 1. Just putting that out there.

The reservation holder can release their interest in it. You can also have the original reservation holder drop their interest or name on it after its registered.

Love it. Sorry to cause a little competitive tension, but I’ll sell mine for $1 less than your offer, although the buyer will have to wait until Fall 22 for delivery. With that much time, the buyer could invest that extra $1 and, who knows, you might be able to buy 2 or 3 more ED1s if you pick the right NFT/DigiCoin

In a way, I agree with you about the resale for profit, especially since we are all banging on dealers for even marking them up $10,000 (especially when the dealers are struggling to even get ANY vehicles to sell)... A funny side note to that, they are running a local radio add in my town (probably paid for and scheduled a while ago) saying that they have a new shipment of Silverados and plenty of inventory. I rode by and they have a good inventory of USED vehicles, but their new car lot was completely empty except for 2 Silverados with the Rocky Ridge or other aftermarket equipment upgrades (lifts and whatnot)... And they had moved about 8 of their fleet trucks over to line the roadside... Behind the roadside the lot is completely empty.

With all that said, if I was getting an early Hummer, I would drive it for a little while, but I would really hard pressed not to sell it and double my $ and wait and order another one if I love it that much. Hell it seems like FOREVER at this point and I am just hoping that someone else here gets one and can tell us all about it

You're entitled to your opinion, but you know what they say about opinions.

No matter the product, if its scarce, and the demand is high, so too will the prices. The difference in people flipping for profit and a dealer adding ADM is very easy. Someone walking into a dealership is 1. either writing a check for it or 2 using a LARGE portion of their credit to be able to purchase. If they are taking a risk on buying it and selling it then they deserve to make a profit... the dealer on the other hand is literally just a middle man to sign papers and clean it up. Don't feel bad for a dealer selling at MSRP and making THOUSANDS of dollars. They will be fine.

TBH... If you buy this, and someone offers to buy yours from you for a healthy profit, and you don't then your are financially irresponsible. These vehicles will be worth 50% of value in the next 6 years, so I'll take money on my money over a loss.

Why should an owner not have the freedom to convert the asset to cash?

i get the sentiment because I’d rather have the z06 than the ev1. But I managed to secure this and if I can turn a profit to that. Then I’ll do it. If people are that much of an enthusiast then pony up and pay or wait. Just how life goes. The only way around it is for GM to vet people like they did with the gt and they’ll still get burned because money talks

I want both....I'm on the reservation list for the Z06, I should see that by fall 2023..ouch!!! .and I'm #1 at my dealer for the Edition 1 Hummer EV should be early Spring 2022 I'm told.
Neither allocations are for sale! Having and enjoying these vehicles is much more important than the money...Because I'm an enthusiast who won't pay over MSRP and never did!
It is a matter of principal!

What does that really mean "financially irresponsible"?
If somebody wants to buy something that you have, you should sell it to them if they offer you a certain amount more then you paid for it? Otherwise you are "financially irresponsible"
I don't think so. But I see your Handle on this forum is "MunneY" so I guess that's what you do.
There is a whole lot more than making a financial profit in life, unless that is your thing, your passion, if you're a "Financial Profit Enthusiast" I'm not!... I'm a Car Enthusiast.
I still stand with the fact that the Flippers and the people from the More Money then Brains Club are hurting us....the guys that want these Cars, Guitars, Watches, and just about everything that is in high demand and short supply.
Just a little over a year ago people were marking up Toilet Paper and Disinfectant Wipes, talk about supply and demand!!!
