In a new Instagram post showing this HUMMER EV prototype, Doug DeMuro said "Quirks and features on the way." Expect to see a review from him very soon!

Finally!! THIS was the review I've been waiting for. Doug apparently said the only vehicle he's had more requests to review in such a short period of time was the C8 Corvette. Of the hundreds and hundreds of vehicles he's reviewed...that's huge.

Will be interesting to see what Doug has to say. GM is doing a good job of getting the word out on this Hummer EV, and getting it in front of major influencers, I wonder if GM has learned a lesson in marketing? You don't have to spend a fortune on constant print and TV advertising to get the word out.

I do think the company has totally revised their market strategy since covid hit, and it might be one of the few positive things to come out of this mess for them. Sure looks like playing off the Hummer name recognition by bringing it back was a genius idea.

And as far as Jay Leno goes, absolutely!

He did for sure. There were some things that he mentioned that I hadn't heard about. Such as the cameras underneath the truck, the thumbs up underneath the running board, and rock crawling mode being used for regen charging.

In this new review of the Lucid Air, Doug teased his upcoming Hummer EV review as part of a promo for his car auction site, CarsAndBids.com. Can't wait for his take after actually driving it, since the above was just a walkaround.
