Doug DeMuro rates the Rivian R1S the best car he has ever reviewed.

It's a dead heat between the Hummer and the Rivian. I can't wait for the Hummer SUV to be out to finally inspect it more closely.

The scores were exactly the same except practicality gained a point in the end for more internal storage between the R1S and R1T.

Rivian R1S scored higher then the HummerEV 74 vs 73, 74 is the highest score doug has ever given

Hummer SUV will score lower than the Rvian on Utility, Acceleration, software features, 4 wheel steer will not make that up.

Reread my post.

The Hummer Pickup scored Higher than the R1T in Features, Comfort, and Quality. I say it will about match that again with the SUV vs the Rivian R1S.

Rivian is going to sell a ton of the R1S, its so good, and if you order before the price increase, so cheap for what you get.

Yeah I have a reservation that's like $75k as configured after they forced the Adventure package upgrade. It would be like $97k now to reserve. Not sure if going to take it but tempting!

I reserved one months ago. I think it was around Christmas.
