Does this give us some clues to the EV Escalade?

Many EV media and institutional investors were secretly shown a Concept EV Escalade in 2020, and we all though it would come to market in 2023, but since GM has been quiet on the EV Escalade, only acknowledging that it may or may not be coming. When I saw this rendering from GM Design the first thought was this might be the EV version with obviously exaggerated wheels. If this is the EV Escalade, I will be blown away, and might consider a Cadillac.

GM Design said this was their ideation for the current Escalade but it has elements to it that definitely reflect the EV Lyriq.

This looks so much better then the current Escalade, proportions are spot on, if you ignore the exaggerated wheels and height.

Not far from the Escalade IQL
Basically proportions of a blown up Rivian R1S, I like it...

Something makes me doubt the EV Slade will look like this. From the little I've heard from news sites and people on forums, the overall outline will be much more flowing and raked, not boxy. How they plan to do that on an 8 passenger vehicle that size without making it look like a coupe SUV (BMW X6, which is hideous) or a lifted wagon like the Lyriq is beyond me. But I have a feeling it'll be a stunner.

Ironically, I just saw that right after I posted this lol. So that verifies the info.

By the way Nebula, since I've been gone for a while...what were your thoughts on the Celestiq? I couldn't be happier.

Big week coming up for Caddy at Pebble Beach. Word has it the Celestiq show car will be unveiled to the public there.

Escalade IQ was the best looking product, I felt like it stole the show from Celestiq
