EVs have much more monitoring systems and the Hummer also has walk up and away light animation. Constantly looking for the fob. When does this 12v battery get charged? Combustion cars have Bluetooth, WiFI, Apps and remote start with both key fob and iPhone. My battery in my corvette lasted 5 years. Not buying it this.
You don't have to... Just get a trickle charger that is designed for AGM batteries and connect it to the terminals. So you disconnect the battery terminals.
There are solar powered trickle chargers available.Don’t most trickle chargers have to be plugged in to a wall outlet? I used to have one when I stored my C7 in the winter. Do they make portable ones? Just curious so if I go park at an airport for 5 days I could hook up a trickle charger so it isn’t dead when I get back from traveling
It's still plugged in and it will use the wall plug to maintain battery temp and other checks. It looks to check 12V battery state once a day also.Once the vehicle reaches your predetermined SOC (ex 85%) the charger shuts off, so how will it keep maintain the 12 volt battery?
EVSE = Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment = that big 48 AMP Unit GM gave you to wire into your house to charge the Hummer.EVSE?
King of multiple accounts. You're welcome. xDAhhh, Got it!
Thanks
