An EA membership is $4/month. If you own a Hummer EV you would be crazy not to pay for the membership. In this case the yearly cost would have been saved in one charge.

Everyone needs to accept the fact that charging EVs on road trips is actually fairly comparable to road tripping an ICE, as far as fuel cost. The big savings is when charging at home for local driving. 95% of the time, you will be doing charging at home.

I just checked my charging stats for my Tesla and over 90% of my charging is done at home or at work (free). In the last 31 days I've used superchargers much more than I typically do and home charging still accounted for 91%. I have a feeling I'll need to use superchargers more frequently with the Hummer since I won't be able to fully charge it overnight between commutes but unless I'm on a long-distance road trip I likely won't ever fully charge it at a supercharger.

I only pay $0.15 per KwH at Shell Recharge so less than $28 to fully charge and I average 400 miles per charge.

These super fast chargers can’t be good for the batteries if used consistently!
30 minutes for a full charge as compared to 12 hours on my cripple creek!
