Other than the cut out for the front Liscense plate, I am having a hard time noticing any other real differences. It would be nice if they have a cover for those of us in States that do not require a front plate.

That's the thing though. There are two different plastic panels there. a Silver one and a Black one for the license plate.

Almost looks like they made it so you can just drill your own holes in the grey one if you want or purchase the black one with premade holes and other details that swaps in place of the grey one.

I don't think so, the radiator is right behind there... You can see it if you zoom the photo...

Well, hopefully they designed it with a space for a winch as it might be needed by anyone driving a 9K pound vehicle off-road. It will need a 15K pound winch and my bets are on there being space for a winch. We will see.

I'm not sure that is a black plate. I kinda looks like black tape that is holding the temp license on the bumper.

I just specced mine and added license plate brackets as one of the accessories. Should be here soon 🙂

Huh? What was the NDA for? I have never heard of GM having any customer sign an NDA for anything, unless you had litigation with them.

Why on Earth would they have you sign that? I can see maybe they want to keep shipping status info under wraps just in case there is a delay. They wouldn't want all of us posting everyday about delays and vehicle holds. However, once you get it I can't imagine them wanting you to keep it under wraps.

Only thing I can think of is they were invited to an Owner Event with GM.

Come on guys, GM does not have retail customers sign NDA's, as if that broke cover, GM would get hammered in the media. GM does not even have media sign NDA's when they show them future product, they just ask them to hold the embargo date for certain aspects of the vehicles, and don't allow pictures. It's more of an honor system, and if you break the honor system you don't see future product again.

Tesla fans said Lucid was also making their customers sign NDA's, which several Lucid customers blew out of the water.
