Celestiq will use Solid-State Lidar for Ultra Cruise

The Solid-State Lidar system will be provided by a Lidar Startup company that has been around since 2016. The company's name is CEPTON.

Solid-State Lidar is less expensive and easier to implement than larger Lidar systems that spin and use mirrors.

This will allow the Celestiq to travel on 95% of roads in the US, not just highways.

Pretty cool, I am going to be getting a briefing on UltraCruise soon. Looking forward to learn more about the technology.
