Tesla has built a whole lot more EVs than GM. Also, the Cyber Truck offers a longer bed. Personally still not interested, but these details might be part of the appeal.
That's true as well. The fanbase around Tesla is rabid. I guess the same for the F-150 too.Tesla has built a whole lot more EVs than GM. Also, the Cyber Truck offers a longer bed. Personally still not interested, but these details might be part of the appeal.
Also, the Hummer has been designed and marketed towards a VERY particular audience...as is evident by it's extreme capability and high price. They don't need nor want everyone to consider one, because that isn't the Hummer's mission. It's a high-cost, high-power, high-capability flagship for GMC. The Tesla and the Ford are being geared much more towards the mass market. That's true as well. The fanbase around Tesla is rabid. I guess the same for the F-150 too.
Yeah it would be good if the bed was longer but then it starts to creep into the Silverado EV territory which GM won't want. The Hummer looks WAY better than the Cybertruck... But Tesla fans are what they are... I do wish that the Hummer had a longer bed... But it's features and styling will win in Spades... Also, I wonder how many people were even informed enough to actually know about them
Longer bed reduces off-road capability.Yeah it would be good if the bed was longer but then it starts to creep into the Silverado EV territory which GM won't want.
Not to mention the volume leaders are short bed models, which are only slightly longer than Hummer EV. The Silv E Rado EV will have a shorter front overhang, and longer bed, I think. No need for the giant Frunk sized specifically to carry the roof panels on the Chevy.Longer bed reduces off-road capability.
