During GM's EV Day yesterday they released a bunch of images hinting at their new line of electric vehicles, one of which looks like an all-eletric Camaro.

This is very interesting since it's well known that GM is planning to end the Camaro in 2023. Maybe they've changed their mind?

Very interesting. I'll admit, I would much rather them give it a new ICE generation with the new LT2 V8, but if my options were to have an electric Camaro, or no Camaro at all, this seems like a good idea. The resemblance to the Camaro silhouette is almost identical.

Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but the clearance on the silhouettes seems higher. Would they be thinking of a SUV like Ford's Mach E?
Personally, I think it's virtually identical. Also, there was a fastback EV crossover teased as well, likely based on the Cadillac Lyriq, for Chevy...if anything, my guess is that would be the Mach-E fighter.

The profile is more reminiscent of the original Volt concept car.
I see your point jcarr, but the original Volt concept had that straight line running through the side profile, rising from front to back. This EV teaser image is shelved, exactly like the Camaro design is.
