One of the most important features for me would be the availability of bidirectional charging for power backup in an emergency or for off-road use. This would be a "I'll take it at any price" feature.

Any developments in this area?
I read an article about the the New F150 that was really cool. The author did not have his house wired correctly to accept the larger cord, but he did a test and powered the fridge and several other power sucking appliances including an iron all at the same time pulling the power from the invertor on the F150 and he said that it even had shut down the engine at times, and was only pulling from the batteries. I also read something about them using them in Texas recently during their power outage fiasco... It would be cool, but with EV only when the batteries were dead, then you would be out of power and no way to leave either. The F150 upgrade was (I think) less than a whole house generator, and it would always be available and in working order... Especially for infrequent use where the backup ones would require maintenance, or sit idle most of the time... (but do not use in an enclosed space such as a garage because of carbon monoxide poisoning)

That is a really cool feature on the F150, On TFL (The Fast Lane Truck) you can see them charge a Tesla model Y at 7.2 kW off the F150, awesome... GM could technically give the HummerEV this feature, and / or the refreshed pickups coming at the end of this year, but will they? Sometimes GM amazes, sometimes they disappoint, which will it be?

I agree... I went by to look at a newly redesigned Silverado 1500 (a year or so ago) when they had just come out and I was really let down with the design of the dash and infotainment screen. I had been in a friend's Ram with the BIG screen and I was just disappointed with the Silverado.... And it had a sticker of almost $80,000 (it did have one of the aftermarket conversions with a lift and what not), but it didn't even have leather seats.... As the price of "loaded pick up trucks" keeps going up it does not make me feel as bad about the price of the new Hummer EV's pricing...
