Has anyone gotten anything new or seen anything new on the Hummer Ev? I've seen one youtube short of an all black near production spec (no white parts at all) SUV driving on the highway, has anyone gotten any information on the 3X's? tired of seeing the Edition 1's, anything new would be great and a sure sign that GM is getting ready on the 3X.

Even plant updates would be great, from an investor stand point and a buyer stand point, I would love to hear new things on GM ev's as they look to me as some of the best EV's hitting the market (when they do)

I dont know why I'm so impatient right now, but the edition 1's are getting boring and they said the configurator would be live by fall. seems like it'll be late fall.

The battery plant did start shipping last week, that is some progress.

And Mary Barra claims they have built 1000 HEVs.

Christmas will come next July for EV3x reservations, lol.

I think its the constant drumbeat of new EV announcements like the Silverado, Blazer, Equinox, etc. compared to the relative silence when it comes to updates on EVs already in production that I find most annoying. Knowing how slow going the rollout of the Hummer has been, I just kind of chuckle whenever they announce a new EV. We're all just excited for our trucks and suvs and their mutism on deliveries doesn't match our enthusiasm.

We Canadians, were not offered the Edition 1. So we have to wait for the 3X. I have an allocation from my dealer who has been granted 5 allocations for the 3X.

However our 3X will get the Edition 1 power and perfomance.

The GMC Hummer EV3X will produce more power in Canada than it will in the United States.
While the Hummer EV3X will launch in the U.S. with a tri-motor powertrain producing 800 horsepower and 9,500 pound-feet of wheel torque, the exact same trim level will have the same 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet setup as the Edition 1 model will in the U.S.

Everyone can upgrade the 3X to the ED1 level.

Haha, nobody has been lied to, and actually over half the ED1's have been delivered, with still 4 months to go in the delivery window.
I agree nobody has been directly lied to, but this statement from January of this year has no hope of being met.

At the end of Q2, GM had not even delivered 10K EVs, and I doubt Bolt production has ramped up enough to even get them to 25K at the end of Q3. It means they have to ramp up to 30K EVs per month starting in 2023 to meet the goal of 400K by the end of next year.

Ya, I have been skeptical of that goal from the moment I first heard it. I figured 80K this year and 320 next year.

Don't be fooled, the Bolt factory is and has been cranking hard recently. Mary said they would build 50K Bolt's in 2022, considering the factory restarted in Q2, that is a lot.

To say GM has "no way" to make a goal they have repeated constantly, is likely foolish, but I remain skeptical, and if GM does make it, they will be a solid number 2 in USA EV production next year.

GM is going to be producing EVs at 5 different plants next year. They'll definitely have the capacity to hit their goal if they can keep the supply chain up.

Ramos, Spring Hill, Factory Zero, Orion, and CAMI.
