Hello All, Placed my EV3x back in April 2022. Based on everything I see, the dealer that I initially used will try to jack up with dealer add on. Any advice how I may change to a (I confirmed) a dealership in California that does not charge over MSRP?

I reached out to GM support. The gal I spoke with in early September said it would not be a problem as long as I made the change soon. I called back the following week and was told it was currently not an option due to GM putting a freeze on any new pre orders.

Thanks for any advice in advance.

You may just have to wait til the freeze is lifted. If your number comes up at your current dealer, you can always pause saying you're not ready while at the same time continuing to contact support or the actual dealer in Cali and try to switch.

And honestly, it will be 2024 if you reserved in April '21 and the market will likely be WAY different on second hand sales once there's 10-20k of them out there instead of a little over 500. You might not even have an issue at that point.
