Sorry, My BS detector senses something, there was one Hummer EV sold to a customer in 2021, and that was the auction one... $2.5M, unless that is the person looking at your H2, they are lying.

Yea. That was my immediate reaction. People don’t realize just how much information is out there now

I have seen all sorts of crazy things posted on the internet. Clearly Hummer production is starting very slow, slower then any of us predicted, but they are now leaving the factory and heading out to customers. I remember thinking 1500 would be delivered in 2021, then revised down to 500, then 100, then actually 1. Now it's looking like 1500 might be the number for 2022, although that sure does seem low.

You would think that 5 a day would be possible, but who knows.

I hope this isn’t the case. I’m losing patience. About ready to move on from my dreams of a 3X.

I heard from a GMC dealer that order out times on Yukons are all dependent on options. They aren’t building as many Denali’s or higher trim levels because they take more chips. Wondering if GM made the wrong decision by starting with the highest trim first and working backwards. I know batteries are one thing, but with the chip shortage they create a whole other supply issue to meet demand with all the chips the technologies take.

Why would you be thinking of moving on from the 3X? Losing patience? GM guided those would not be produced until Fall of 2022, which is still 9 months away, did you expect something different than they advertised?

On the Denali optioned Yukon, that and AT4 is all I have seen at dealerships lately, no downscale Yukons that I have seen recently, @BigJonEV what are you seeing come in?

Factory Zero is running on 1 shift and 5 days a week, there are only a few hundred working there (besides the contractors preparing for Silverado E production and Cruise Origin), that will not change until more batteries are available.

If they are only going to get 1500 Edition 1’s out this year there is no way they will get all of the reservations fulfilled, thus pushing back the release of the other trims

Edition 1 Hummer pickups are going to be produced for the 23 Model year as well.
At least as hinted on (The Extract Mode description) gmc.com page.

I’m starting to believe GM’s Hummer timeline about as much as I believe Teslas

Why do you say that, the delivered exactly on the timeline they gave...
delivering a single unit in 2021 doesn’t quite meet “fall 2021” standards to me.

I heard somewhere that a very high percentage of the reservations for the Hummer EV are for the First Edition model something like 80% as I recall? and GM said they will deliver all of them, so first edition might be in production for a while

Sure it does, GM said "initial availability in Fall 2021", and they delivered the first one Dec 17th which is 4 days before end of fall. So that is meets the target. I am everyone else expected more, but they met the guidance.

Hence the reason I don’t expect 3X’s anywhere near fall 2022. Based on the current rate of production they won’t get through edition 1’s for quite some time, this pushing back the 3X release

I don't think so... I think many of the edition 1 orders are actually 3X reservations that are on waitlist. I would bet you GM will meet its guidance. Production will increase every month, and by the end of 2022 will be humming.

Chips will never be a problem for HummerEv, as it is a small and low production program, and GM can rathole the parts from other programs.

Lets remember Gm made the Hummer schedule before the Bolt Fiasco, and before major inflation hit, and has kept all their promises, while Tesl has delayed products by years, and raised prices 25%

Again, just my opinion, maybe they ought to reword their marketing and advertising. Thousands of people put in a reservation for something they were told would be available fall 2021. Making a single one is far below what consumers expected. Could we also say that Elon has met expectations for the cyber truck if he were to build a single one and sell it to a consumer?

by the end of Fall 2021 there were 17 Edition 1s built and one delivered.
